The Bennington Police Department and the CDC Law Enforcement Program have partnered in a unique way to provide real hands-on experiences to students enrolled in the program. Interactive classes with Bennington Police Department personnel include: Tire deflation (Stinger Spike), control/restraint, firearms, less-than-lethal force, and felony traffic stops. Hands-on training is balanced with instructor led classroom presentations, group work, mock scenarios and relevant project-based assignments.
